When Chris Ellingson decided to work with Chris Tybor of ChrisFit Personal Training, he was counting on an opportunity to create accountability. Accountability to show up for his sessions and to perform to the best of his abilities.
“I didn’t want to let Chris or myself down,” said Ellingson. “He pushes me, where as if I were by myself I may have given up or quit.”
Chris set up weekly goals for Ellingson that were both reasonable and health-conscious, keeping in line with achievable long-term maintenance.
“I started at 228 pounds. I’ve lost 14 pounds in the first two weeks of my training and plan on averaging one to two pounds per week until I reach my goal weight of 165 pounds.”
With sound nutritional advice and expert training techniques, Chris showed Ellingson realistic, healthy eating habits and better training methods focusing on form rather than “ego” lifting (lifting more weight than you probably should can lead to serious injuries).
As for keeping his client motivated, Chris was there every step of the way.
He's always there, driving you," said Ellingson. "He practices what he preaches."
At 30 years old, Chris Ellingson was a tired, lazy and depressed young man who suffered from lower back pain, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Now, after working with ChrisFit Personal Training, he has more energy, more confidence, is healthy, optimistic and most importantly, living his life to the fullest.
"Chris has driven me harder than what I ever thought I was capable of," said Ellingson.
And it seems he's a happier man for it.
"I would recommend training with Chris and ChrisFit Personal Training to anyone." |
